Thermistor Probe MMX Plus IID is an ATC probe for use with the MMX+ or MMX+R electronic heaters. Used in conjunction with a temperature controller (not included), it allows temperature control at an optimum level.

The Thermistor Probe MMX Plus IID is a thermistor probe with a 1/8" NPT thread, and a 300 mm lead wire. It has a sheath-protected thermistor. The thermistor probe is not designed for immersion in water baths or in open tanks, nor should it be used for on-line temperature measurement in water baths or enclosures.

Thermistor probe mounts on the end of any digital temperature controller to measure and display the probe's temperature. The thermistor is attached to the probe and mounted in the same fixture as the heater. A pair of leads from a thermistor probe assembly can be connected directly to an electronic controller with one lead from each lead wire going directly to the probes output terminal. Then, set your controller for proportional control (PT) mode, set your desired temperature and plug it in. At that point, your thermistor will be continually controlling that temperature based on how warm it gets.
