The 471566 THERMISTOR PROBE NT is a thermistor probe designed for use with the DSS-1 Digital Shower System. The probe is inserted into a shower water line and connected to the DSS-1's temperature sensor port. Showers can be preset to any temperature from 82 to 108 degrees Fahrenheit (28 to 43 degrees Celsius) within this range. It's recommended that the user set the water heater between 95 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit (35–38 degrees Celsius). A higher setting will result in scalding temperatures, which can cause burns or other complications.
