The X-13 motor with resilient rotor has a maximum horsepower of 3/4 hp. It is made of copper and steel with an aluminum hub and rotor. This design combines the best features of cast iron and steel motors to provide quiet, low maintenance, efficient operation.

Our X-13 motor is an integral part of Ruud's X-13 expansion valve. This motor is sold complete with an attached resilient rotor, and found in a variety of applications with a 3/4 HP continuous rating.

Our X-13 motors have resilient rotors and are ideal for pumps up to 40 gpm. This motor is CE rated for installation into hot or chilled domestic water systems, features a protective end cap to keep out debris and weather, and has an operating temperature range from 5°F to 120°F. It has a 1 3/8 in x 17.31 in rectangular flange and 1 in shaft diameter with a 1 1/8 in case diameter.

The X13 motor is the smallest size recommended by Ruud to have a resilient stator and copper rotor for maximum performance. This motor has a wind system which designates towards more power during high winds or high pressure situations. This is sold separately from the housing allowing you to replace your existing motor with another same model or higher horsepower.
