The AFII 9-SLOT HEAD ASSEMBLY is the replacement head assembly for the AF2, AF4, and AF6 burner. This control head features full flow manual control of the air, fuel and flue damper. The combustion control NO (normally open) type thermostatic valve allows fine tuning of the flame and heat output by allowing more or less fuel to flow to maintain an optimal firebox temperature.

The BECKETT 56456 HLX 9 Slot Head Assembly for AFII burner will replace your original BECKETT head assembly. It is compatible with genuine BECKETT grills that were built with an AFII burner system, and it comes with the ceramic eye, or igniter.

The AF2-9 is a 9 slot, 4.25" diameter head made of Ceramic and silicon carbide for high temperature applications, it is designed to be used on the HLX Burner. Huck® Ceramic grain offers stable carbon tracking under extreme temperatures. Silicon carbide grain can be used up to 2600 Deg. F (1400C) and offers superior erosion resistance compared to zirconia grain.It transfers 22,000 BTU with an efficiency of 90%.
