5300 031 EFLS EXTENDED FULL LIP STRIKE

Baldwin's 5300-031 Efls Extended Full Lip Strike is designed to be used in conjunction with Baldwin non-lacquered mechanical closers for swinging wood and metal doors.

EFLS (Extended Full Lip Strike) comes standard with the 5300 Series door leaf. This Solid Brass Strike provides a large bearing surface for extra strength at the strike as well as the door latch side of the leaf. The 5300 Series Baldwin EFLS is mortised into the door leaf and covers most of the edge of the door leaf on both sides. The 5300 Series EFLS provides a larger bearing surface than standard strikes.

The Baldwin 5300.EFLS is used on steel doors with one (1) or two (2) strikes. This extended full lip strike is recommended for use on wood doors with a stile and rail construction that will accept the lipped arrangement of the strike, and does not have a door stop as part of the door construction.

This product is a Baldwin 5300031 Extended Full Lip strike designed to hold any Baldwin S series ring latch. This strike fits doors measuring from 2-5/16" - 3-5/16". Strike comes complete with spring and screws and is made with solid brass.

If your sliding closet door is thicker than normal, or if you have a double sliding door and want to keep the privacy from peeking in, this Baldwin extended full lip strike may be what you are looking for. It is also very easy to install.

The extended full lip strike frame pulls further away from the door, allowing for larger strikes to be used. It does so by extending from the back of the faceplate by 1/2".

Ultra-heavy-duty full lip strike can be used on doors up to 1" thick in any application. This is a Baldwin heavy-duty Bronze finish hinge designed to extend over door.
