A privacy latch for a Baldwin Estate lever door handle in satin nickel. Matching screws are #5511319P (matching screws) and 5513024P (screws for handles).

The 5513 "Estate" Privacy door lever latch from Baldwin is finished in Satin Nickel and has a lifetime warranty. This privacy latch is perfect for replacing older lever handles with backset 2-3/8" pre-drilled doors and comes with the proper latch hardware required to install it.

This Baldwin Privacy Door Lock features a latch that is operated with an Allen Key. With this privacy latch, your thumbturn will appear to be locked at all times. Installation is flexible with the option of using screw holes or Baldwin molly bolts for installation. This latch can easily be converted to a keyed entry system by adding the 5513 059 Keyed Privacy Latch End Cap on one side of door and the 5513 058 Privacy Latch End Cap on the other side.

The Baldwin privacy latch is commonly used to provide access to a room without exposing the locking mechanism or keyhole. This satin nickel privacy lever latch features a 5513 series mortise lock with 2-3/8 inch (60 mm) backset and is designed for doors from 1-3/8 inch to 1-7/16 inch thick. The latch has two release positions, an outside position that allows privacy by keeping the door closed, and an inside position that allows normal passage through the doorway. The latch features an integral thumb turn with a strike box that accommodates a straight or 90 degree swing door configuration.
