The latch has a patent pending defensive feature to prevent unauthorized removal of the latch, is field reversible for easy installation, and features an adjustable tension spring for a lifetime of smooth operation.

Baldwin's privacy latches are designed to take the place of standard front door knobs. The privacy latch is operated with a thumbturn from the outside and a key from the inside. This knob is for a 2-3/4" backset and comes in a variety of finishes including satin nickel, oil rubbed bronze, stainless steel, and Old World bronze. This product is designed for use on wood doors only.
