Our Caleffi 114966 is a 1/2" Swt BFP/AutoFill 1/2" NPT Fema model that provides a high level of protection against backpressure and potential cross flow concerns. It fits over your primary gas line, and prevents any unwanted release or reverse flow of gas products in order to provide you with the safest possible operation.

CALEFFI 1/2-in Swt BFP/AutoFill & BackFlow Preventers are tested to meet NFPA requirements for fire protection of pressurised hydrant systems. Each product is certified by Factory Mutual (FM) Laboratories to be in compliance with the Building Code of Canada and adopted by the Province of Québec, and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), UL, CSA, and UPC approvals.

The Calefi 1/2" AutoFill & Backflow Preventer combo is for use with water source heaters, boilers and other domestic water systems. The Calefi 1/2" AutoFill & Backflow preventer features a half inch female NPT sweat connection and ¾ inch automatic switchover valve. The NPT sweat connection allows for all 3P,4P,5P as well as 2S,3S applications. The 1/2" AutoFill backflow preventer provides R3 certification at 30 psi (227 kPa).

This 114966 Caleffi BFP/AutoFill features a stainless steel sweat body, brass bonnet, pro style handle and bottom spud. The BFP/AutoFill is designed for use in potable water systems that require a combination Backflow Preventer and Air Gap. The BFP/AutoFill is an assembly that includes an air gap that creates protection against backflow where liquids greater than or equal to 125 psi (minimum) are flowing against a non-pressurized stream of water less than or equal to 1.5sgpm at 60 psi.

This combination of an AutoFill Backflow Preventer and a 1/2" sweat connection is a simple solution for installing irrigation systems. Featuring brass hardware and a durable plastic body, the backflow preventer includes its own metal 3/4" male or female sweat nipple and standard rubber washers. Work with water pressure of 40 GPM @ 5 feet.
