The Armstrong insertion limit switch R46105-004 controls the amount of material that may be inserted into an object. When excess material has been detected, the over travel switches are actuated by the built-in plunger which opens the air circuit to stop further movement of the ram. The contacts on these switches prevent the machine from moving to a dangerous overload condition.

This Armstrong Insertion Limit Switch is designed for control of air freshener dispensers. It features a green, nylon-wound wiper actuator that requires a max rack travel of 2.3 in (58.4 mm) and is made for use with the 204A10 series dispenser bracket.

The Armstrong Air Control Limit Module eliminates problems resulting form "cold-short" heating situations. When the green limit is closed, a 24 volt signal is supplied to the lower heater element only. This will prevent damage to the compressor motor due to overloading by a short in the compressor. If this limit malfunctions, it can be pulled from the control and checked easily for continuity or a bad contact. The Limit Switch is wired in series between the lower element and the controller board.

The Armstrong Limit Switch controls the limit of travel on compressors and air tools. Use with air lines up to 3/4" (19 mm). L170-30F has built-in handle for easy installation.
