Baldwin's new Vintage Brass 6321033R 6321.R right handed Residential Entrance, Emergency Egress Mortise Lock is designed for universal applications in more than 1 million pre-drilled doors across North America. The 6321033R is not only BE169 and NFPA Embassy approved, but also CSA certified in Canada, ANSI approved (UL) and California-approved in California. For commercial and residential applications, this door hardware mortise lock from Baldwin is perfect for upgrading your home with style and safety. The 6321033R comes finished in polished brass to match nearly any decor. It features a fire-rated weather seal and is designed to work with all 033 residential entry doors with 3/4" to 1-1/8" thick panels. This is a right handed lock and will be installed on the right side of the door. You should use this product with doors that possess a standard uni-directional rotating active pin tumbler cylinder mechanism: 2-3/8

The Baldwin 6321 Series mortise locks, like all of the Baldwin Residential Mortise Locks, are high security locks for residential and commercial doorways. The 6321 Series Mortise Lock has a 6 pin cylinder mechanism that is resistant to picking and bumping, and is UL listed for exterior doors.

The Baldwin Model 6321 is a commercial grade mortise lock equipped with a hardened steel cylindrical latch bolt for superior strength. The cylinder, rotating gear affixing screws and bolt are all zinc plated for superior rust resistance. This model comes with either a R (Right Handed) or L (Left Handed) rotation of the backset hole that locks the door.

Residential Mortise Lock - Variants: Dimensions are 3 1/2"w x 6"h - Concealment: Parts that project from the door are kept to a minimum, no more than 3/4". - Latch bolt throw is 1/2" LH. - Locks must be case hardened steel, not less than 57 RC. Baldwin, being the largest and oldest manufacturer of mortise locks in the U.S., has created this line of locks for applicants requiring superior quality and security at a reasonable price.

A 9/16" turn of the key releases the deadbolt by pushing the locking bolt retractor past the strike. This mortise lock can be used for residential and commercial applications.
