The connector/trap assembly is an OEM part that serves to connect the discharge portion of the waste line to the trap.

The Rheat Connector/Trap is an assembly that consists of the Inlet, inlet adapter and Trap. The RHEEM brand traps, inlets and adaptors are available to meet a wide range of applications. These units allow water, air and steam applications. All traps have a 1-1/2 inch NPT drain connection.
