The Connector Transition Assembly includes a thermal cover with gasket and a connector transition with gasket. The gasket is used as a seal to help prevent outside air from entering the appliance and prevent the exhaust from leaving the appliance prematurely.

The connector transition assembly is used to transition between a 3/4" (20 mm) diameter supply duct and 1-1/2" (38 mm) diameter supply duct. The adapter complies with the IMC Global Inc. standard and is suitable for use with Rheem, Ruud brand gas furnace models listed below. The adapter must be installed by a qualified licensed HVAC contractor in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

The adapter connects two Rheem/Ruud Energy Recover Power Ventilators (ERPV), two Rheem/Ruud Fan-Coil units, to a single incoming duct supply. This adapter is also used as an extension for a Ruud Central System.
