FLAME SENSOR FOR HOT SURFACE IGNITI
These replacement sense electrodes are designed for use with the Flame Sensor 5851, 5887 and 5948. The sense electrode is a narrow tungsten filament, usually mounted in both a barrier tube and hot surface. When gas or vapors come into contact with the electrode, electrons will be transferred to the gas, causing an ionization current to travel down the lead wires to the flame sensor terminals. This white rodgers 5154 stand ard replacement sense electrode has a 30in lead length and is fl ame sensed for hot surface ignition systems.
The white-rodgers 5154 Standard Replacement Sensor is a Flame Sensor for Hot Surface Ignition Systems.
Sensor has correct lead length for hard wiring to any Flame sensor. Flame sensor (FS), used with many White-Rodgers® room thermostats, shuts off burner or boiler if flame goes out due to draft or insufficient fuel supply. 30inch lead length. Female spade. This is a Genuine White-Rodgers Part # 5154 & Standard Replacement Equipment"""
For replacement Flame Sensor only (Not included in the Standard or Comfort Sense Controller). This Flame Sensor is for use with the Standard Control Board. If your existing flame sensor is shorter than 30", then you will need to purchase additional wire and cut it to length to match.
The Flame Sensor is attached to the flame chamber. The sensor senses heat and turns ON when a flame is sensed and its temperature reaches approximately 140°F (60°C). It turns OFF after the flame goes out or when the temperature falls to approximately 120°F (50°C). The flame sensor has 4k ohms? resistance at room temperature.
The A2F801 Flame Sensor (Flame Guard) has been designed to sense flame, maintain a protective distance, and shut down the system in the event of a fire. The Flame Sensor should be used with either the HCD1000 or HCW1000 Electronic Ignition .
