With a 6½-inch high face white burner, the burners have an attractive design. Safety, performance and easy maintenance are key features for the line of WHIT-RODGERS hot surface ignitors. With front or rear mounting options, igniter rods are stainless steel and are factory set for flame height, eliminating the need to adjust. With a variety of suiteable options to help meet your needs - either directly wired or through an optional transformer - ducted or dual-rod elements, these igniters complement gas radiant cooking products making them safe and easy to use.

A hot surface ignitor is a device used to light gas burners. The hot surface ignitor is used to convert electrical energy to heat energy instead of using electricity directly. This ignition was built to be compatible with our gas valves, so that they will safely and effectively ignite the burner tube. There are many different types of hot surface ignitors available, making it necessary for you to match the right ignitor for your specific application.

The majority of heating and cooling systems use a hot surface ignitor as the component that lights the burner or heater. A hot surface ignitor is normally housed in the flame tube or heat exchanger. White-Rodgers provides a selection of components that will fit most brands.

The 99945 model is a non-magnetic Ignitor. The 99945 is used as an Indicator on residential gas fired units requiring up to 40,000 watts and not to be used with LP gas.
