The RL/UL PlainLatch is the perfect choice for your door guard applications. Designed with a full top rail and square edges it ensures ease of installation. A push latch on the side is easy to distinguish from other types and uses standard size mortise locks.

For use with 1-3/8" (35 mm) and 1-3/4" (44 mm) backsplashes and countertops, the 8BR0311010 straight stainless steel bracket is used to firmly attach enclosures for framed up and solid surface applications.

When used with Intertek-Sterling's PlainLatch Recessed High Force Latch, this unique device allows the door to be opened by 36 pounds of applied force at the door handle. It is designed for use on Sliding Door and access control systems.

Plain latches for 1-3/8" (35 mm) frame and stiles. UL tested with one hinging set, pre-drilled for 2-3/16" (55 mm) and 2-1/4" (57 mm) backset. Limited lifetime warranty.

The lock is part of a kit, and supplied fully assembled. It comes with the rim latch fitted to the door and dummy striker fitted to the frame. The lock is supplied with 2 handles ­ one with a patent grip handle and the other with a plain handle.
