A/C Limit is a one-piece solenoid pressure cutout switch used to protect evaporative type air conditioners and to regulate pressures in refrigeration equipment. Its continuous coil operates directly against stop solenoids, governor valves, thermal expansion devices or electrical heaters. The operating coil demisters internally as the ambient temperature rises; limiting the on-time of the device until it reaches the preset demister temperature when its demister coil will open and reconnect. It is also used when multiple speed or variable speed drives are operated by pressure signals. Its compact size fits into small individual spaces for maximum installation flexibility.
