The 277 MEGR295P in-line backwash regulator compensator is used for flow control to the pressure water side of a backwash system. The flow-control element consists of diaphragms that are tuned on both ends, one end of which is positioned within a reservoir. The opposite end of the diaphragm puts out a maximum flow of 7.5 gpm, and the diaphragm moves in response to both pressure and vacuum.

The first stage regulator drops the pressure from the line up to 150 psi, and prevents the tank from over-pressurizing. The second stage regulator reduces any remaining pressure in the tank to 35 psi, creating a steady flow of air to the firearms muzzle. The "on/off" controls on both regulators are located on the top of each regulator, and an adjustable pressure gauge on top of each hose allows you to set your desired air output.
