This unique DOW2436 BIG MOUTH transmission drain pan was actually designed by one of our customer's in conjunction with JDI

Designed exclusively for the Professional Transmission Mechanic - Many times a transmission pan isn't over-sized enough causing messy leaks or even air Bubbles trapped in the fluid after draining. The Adapt Big Mouth Transmission drain pan was designed to be larger than majority of the OE style pans for increased Accuracy and Prevents Air Bubble build-up.

When using your Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooler in a truck or van, it is important that the drain pan be low enough to completely drain the cooler when the vehicle is on level ground. This will keep ATF from building up in the lines and causing damage to your cooler. The Big Mouth Drain Pan is 36" x 24" wide to fill most drain openings.

The Big Mouth JohnDow Industries Crew Chief JD-2436 transmission drain pan has a big, wide mouth for easy draining of gearboxes, motorcycles, etc. The included calibrated sight glass makes it easy to judge fluid levels. Manufactured from durable a nd flexible rubberized plastic .

Our JohnDow Industries Crew Chief JD-2436 Transmission Drain Pan (Big Mouth) is made from impact resistant aluminum and it is big enough to catch up to 1/2 of a quart of ATF fluid, which is nearly twice as much fluid as the competitors' pans can collect. Our drain pan also features three built in channels designed to direct fluid back into the case.

The JohnDow Industries Crew Chief JD-2436 transmission drain pan is made with heavy duty plastic for rigidity and strength. It allows you to quickly and easily inspect transmission fluid for debris. The big mouth holds up to six quarts of gear oil and the plastic construction makes it easy to clean out after draining. This pan fits GM transmissions both automatic and manual, including models such as 4L80E, 4L85E, 4L70E, 4L60E, and all speeds of the Allison 250C/3000/4000 Series transmissions. The Crew Chief Big Mouth Trans Pan features a new, streamlined shape that looks and functions better. The drain sleeve size has been increased to 2-7/8" (72mm) to reduce the chance of tool roll-over and fluid overflowing.
