AM-1 1/2"IPS MIXING VALVE LF 70-145

The Honeywell Low Flow Mixing Valve can be used to mix hot and cold water, as well as hot and cold glycol. The mixing valve can also be used for vacuum relief or pressure relief when mixed with a remote control vacuum/pressure relief controller. The AM1 1/2"IPS Mixing Valve LF 70-145 requires minimal maintenance and is easy to install. Includes (2) Ceramic Disc Valves, Stainless Steel Body, High Temperature Limit Stop Set Point Adjustment Screws and (4) Stainless Steel Nuts.

The AM-1 1/2" IPS Mixing Valve combines with the DURASTREAM DTE Controller to form a complete Digital Temperature & Flow Control System. The mixing valve controls water temperature by mixing hot and cold water, so there is no need for multiple heating coils or valves in each fixture. This simplified design makes for a less expensive solution that is more reliable.

The AM1 1/2"IPS Mixing Valve from Honeywell Steam Specialty Controls combines the ability to handle higher pressures and temperatures with built-in safety features. The valve has an adjustable fusible link protection that provides a safety interlock among the actuating signal, control signal and main pressure source. It also has an electromagnetic position sensing circuit that allows full power on demand control within a configurable deadband. This circuit reduces the potential for ammonia (NH3) drum flooding at lower pressures. A combination solenoid/relay piloting system is included with the valve body.

The AM1 Series is a 1/2" IPS mixing valve. Designed to mix hot/cold water in the field in either heating or chilled water systems. The unit is rated at up to 145°F, has a brass body with an all brass ball valve. The NPT connections on this unit are compatible with standard pipe thread and can be assembled using standard pipe thread tape or PTFE tape.
