This keeps debris from clogging the pump motor, water line, and interior components of the refrigerator. The MediaFilter can be cleaned during routine maintenance.

The Amana MediaFilter for AM11-1620 is a replacement filter that pulls water and contaminants from the air. Its slim design will add to the space available in your factory installed Amana appliance. This DuoMax compatible air filter has been designed to fit into the same size compartment in your air handler, providing you with increased filtration capabilities.  The carbon drying element is polymer impregnated to remove even more airborne contaminants from your home or office. It also traps the water vapor which would otherwise get into the evaporator coil, causing it to freeze, resulting in low airflow or no airflow.
