The high pressure switch is a component in the circulator valve assembly of Amana engineering model and similar refrigeration equipment. The high pressure switch senses the evaporator high side pressure. The high pressure switch will have two wires, to measure the evaporator side pressure, one wire from the high side of evaporator and another from low side of evaporator.

This genuine Amana part is a high pressure switch. It's used on select Amana brand clothes washers and dryers. On some models, the high pressure switch mounts directly onto the motor assembly. On others, it connects with wires to the timer control board or other electrical boards.

The high pressure switch protects the compressor by kicking off the gas valve if the high pressure limit is exceeded.

Override switch for water fill valves on high pressure units. This is an un-used in the factory configuration and may need to be ordered with the other electrical components on the order.

This part is a pressure switch (high and low pressure models are available) that controls the operation of condensing units with liquid line solenoid valves.

This switch prevents activation of the contactor when there is not enough water in the system.
