This S-Series 1/2 HP motor with Serial ECM, It is Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) and permanently lubricated. It is specially designed for meeting the special requirements of commercial condensing unit and air handling unit applications, which operate continuously at design conditions and require long periods of unattended operation. This permanent split capacitor motor contains a 3-part short-time thermal protection built into the stator windings and utilizing a combination breaker and thermal protector breaker mechanism. This combination breaker automatically operates when condensing unit operating current exceeds those shown in the Motor Data Table.
