The 1HP ECM Motor is engineered to give you superior advance, torque, and run-dry protection. The durable rotor design protects against carbon brushes, while welded rotor housings protect parts from flaking and rusting. This motor features an external rotor design that provides cool-running performance with minimal vibration. Two vents prevent compressor surge which helps to reduce evaporator freeze-up.

The Amana 1HP ECM motor is a member of the Energy Conserving Motors (ECM) product line and is highly efficient and economical to operate.
