.76 Flow Check Piston

The .76 Flow Check Piston is designed for the following brands: Amana, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Admiral

The .76 Flow Check Piston is the perfect choice for keeping your Amana steam generator working at peak performance.  Every time you use your steam system, this piston helps move the steam through the unit to provide you with up to 210 g/min of steaming power.

AMANA B1789876 -Amana .76 Flow Check Piston

When the control valve in a .76 flow check piston is in a closed mode, a small hole in the piston drops below the water level in a cooling coil. When the control valve opens, the head pressure from the flow of refrigerant forces coolant from above onto the top portion of the piston. As long as there is no leak in this system, refrigerant passing through it remains at a constant temperature.

Amana's range of gas and electric stovetop burners help you keep your kitchen burning as your culinary skills grow. The B1789876 .76 Flow Check piston fits a single hole (1/8" orifice) burner on the Amana, Four Seasons, KAISER, Magic Chef, Rheem, Ruud, Thermador and Wolf ranges. This is the F43-type piston with an L123/61E stem.

The very low flow check prevents clogging in the piston area even when large particles are present in the entering water supply. Whether you have a small or large motor, a low flow check piston will provide a much better pressure range for the motor.

The flow check piston will determine if the flow rate of your Amana electric water heater is meeting manufacturer specifications. The piston is installed in the vent pipe and the upper limit assembly is adjusted to control the upper limit of the vent pipe and to monitor and adjust the burner output. You may need to replace this check valve if you have any of the following: Low hot water pressure, low burner flame intensity, bluish-green mineral deposits behind the hot water tap, or loss of heating performance over time.
