70+5mfd 440V DUAL CAPACITOR

The 70+5mfd 440V DUAL CAPACITOR by AMANA is a type of electrolytic capacitor for smoothing the operation of AC motors and inverters. It's one piece design makes it very durable, withstanding extremes in temperature. The winding and metallized film are separated by an extremely thin insulation tube with spiral-wound electrodes using the adhesive form. When the capacitor is in use, the tube enhances its durability against the effects of high temperature and radiation from nearby parts.

The CAP-05 capacitors provide two 35mfd and one 5mfd capacitors to help make up the 440V capacitor. Designed for installations where individual 35mfd units are not required, these capacitors can be installed in parallel to provide a 70+5mfd rating. For applications where an individual 35mfd unit is preferred, replace the 5mfd unit with a separate 35mfd unit.

Between the two capacitors, it can store up to 70mfd which guarantees that your motor will be online and working for quite some time if one of the capacitors is to fail.

The Condenser is composed of two aluminum electrolytic capacitors in a two-in-one package. This results in a small footprint which gives the benefit of a smaller equipment cabinet saving additional space inside the air conditioning equipment room and it is used with reflow type systems. The alternate AC source (reflow) contains 440V which charges the capacitors during the off time of the compressor when operating conditions allow for higher condensing temperature.
