The Allbrook 0.5 GPF Top Spud system eliminates the need for an overflow pipe. It has a genuine American Standard spud and is ideal for retrofit applications in new construction or renovation projects. It is designed with a top-spud for easy installation and repair. The spud fits into the "toilet bowl" below the rim, which prevents any splashing due to overfilling.

The Allbrook Top Spud is a  system of movement that allows for complete removal and cleaning of the entire bowl without unscrewing any nut fittings. It is recommended to use American Standard's unique seal that will allow for easy removal. The seal is a "Z" shape seal, and it must be at the top spud level flush with the drain in order to work.
