American Standard Water Heater Tailpiece, which is designed to control the flow of hot water from the faucet to a bath or laundry tub, and is compatible with most 20-Series models.

The TailPiece offers a perfect, concealed solution to waste and overflow lines from your toilet, sink, or tub. The required P-trap can be installed away from the wall using the Tailpiece and Outlet Elbow (sold separately) for a finish that's a cut above the rest.

The forged brass Tailpiece has an inner diameter of 5/8". There is a 1-1/4" Arbor Hole which requires a Tailstock Arbor with a minimum outside diameter of 1-3/8" and maximum outside diameter of 1-3/4".

The tailpiece is the final pipe in the toilet waste line. The tailpiece outlet cap protects the outlet of the trap from foreign particles and surface water, which may get into the drain system and cause rusting.

Installs by turning hex nut to align water supply holes.
