AQUASOL CORPORATION 047-AFBT-2.5 WELD BACKUP TAPE 2.5X41 COIL, 2.5 X 41 FEET

This 2.5 inch wide backup tape is made from urethane film and is designed for use with 3M(TM) Handy-Pak(TM) Welding Blanket. It is flame retardant, measures 2.5 inches wide x 41 yards long and is white in color. This backup tape has tack on one side.

SOL-GARD® Weld Backup Tape is especially for the Magna-Matic® 2400 series R/C welders. The 2.5" Adhesive Weld Back Up Tape provides increased splatter protection while enhancing the weld quality. This durable tape helps assure optimum welds by keeping the weld pool centered on the stick electrode. It features advanced adhesive technology to withstand 400 Degrees F and 6,600 PSI contact adhesion.

POLY BACKUP TAPE The 047-AFBT-2.5 welding backup tape is designed to be used on the Miller-Millermatic 180, 220, 250, 270, 285, 305M and 350M MIG welders. The tape meets the requirements of ANSI/AWS D1.1 and AWS A3.24 standards for backing up on steel and aluminum to create a seal weld joint. The 2.5 inch width of the welding backing paper provides the proper width of sealing material for most difficult joint sizes that tend to be shorter than 4 inches in length .

Aquasol Weld Backup Tapes are useful for all types of welding. They are produced from specially treated polyester film for excellent welding properties. The material is able to withstand the high heat and pressure of the welder and are easily removed with a blade.
