10K ohm THERMISTOR

This 10K ohm THERMISTOR is used to sense the temperature of the surface and provide a signal to drive an external visual indicator or control mechanism. The mounting flange has an M6 x 1 screw to mount it on a panel (optional).

10K ohm THERMISTOR provides thermal protection to limit the current so that a circuit can continue to operate but at a reduced power level. This product is an NTC thermistor that is normally off and made of ceramic. This thermistor has a positive temperature coefficient of resistance (PTCR) and will operate as a normal NTC thermistor until it reaches its designed working temperature, when it becomes conductive.

The Automation Components Inc. {ACI} A/CP-S-GD 10K ohm THERMISTOR is a type J thermistor with a TCR of 745 ppm/C. The THERMISTOR is 10k ohm at 25°C and has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +250°C.

INPUT: MODEL A/CP-S-GD THERMISTOR. OUTPUT: 10k ohm @25C,500 ma @40C. 750V, 20?C MAXIMUM OPERATING TEMPERATURE. SUITABLE TO DRIVE TYPICAL AC MOTORS WITH ACTIVE OVERLOAD PROTECTION.

THE A/CP-S-GD 10K IS A 1-1/2 INCH LONG, BAKELITE GLASS THERMISTOR WITH RUBBER GASKET. THE CASE IS MADE OF WHITE METAL.
