The AXIOM FN-TRAN-LX is a 1000BASE-LX SFP transceiver module that supports segment length of up to 300 meters on multimode fiber and 165 meters on single mode fiber. It is designed for AXIOM base stations with the Fortinet FortiAXIOM system, but it also works with other vendor's equipment.

The AXIOM 1000BASE-LX SFP Transceiver for Fortinet is a small form factor pluggable module that can be used for networking applications in the 850 nm range. It provides a cost effective optical fiber connection over distances of up to 10 km. Each AXIOM transceiver undergoes extensive gain and loss testing to ensure compliance with industry standards. Can be deployed on standard four-twisted-pair Category 5e cabling, or on multimode fiber optic cable.

The AXIOM 1000BASE-LX SFP optical transceiver provides a cost effective method of enabling Fiber-to-the-Node (FTTN) services. This module supports distances up to 400m on standard single mode fiber.
