Our FIROMATIC 1220 1" NPT(F) X 1" NPT(F) GLOBE FUSIBLE is used in marine, other industrial and special purpose dual-nozzle electrofusion fittings applications requiring 1/4" or 3/8" pipe threads depending on the type.
The FIROMATIC 1220 1" NPT(F) X 1" NPT(F) GLOBE FUSIBLE is intended for electric immersion heating resistance beads, and instantaneous type solid strip heaters. This globe fusible has an output rating of 40K Btu/hr. This globe fusible is designed with a 20% overload protection, 10A fuse inlet connection, and a 120V AC power providing capability.
The FIROMATIC 1220 1" NPT(F) X 1" NPT(F) GLOBE FUSIBLE is used in heating and refrigeration applications requiring a globe fusible element. The FIROMIC 1220 1" NPT(F) X 1" NPT(F) GLOBE FUSIBLE is made of a brass casting alloy body, sealed with a glass envelope, and contains 100' of silicone coated high quality PTFE fabric electrical resistance wire. The F 020 1220 1" NPT(F) X 1" NPT(F) GLOBE FUSIBLE FIROMATIC CONNECTION INSULATOR allows for the installation of a 2 lb. fusible link near the point of use. The insulator body is constructed of high impact, UV resistant glass filled nylon with a PTFE (Teflon®) coating that provides a non-stick surface. It consists of a 3-part assembly with forged brass body, direct compression molded silicone seal and stainless steel clamp band.
What sets this globe fusible apart from the crowd? For starters, its 1" NPT(F) x 1" NPT(F) stainless steel construction, which makes it more durable than aluminum fuses, and resistant to thermal shock. The FIROMATIC 1220 1" NPT(F) x 1" NPT(F) globe fusible connection is designed for use with standard and extended length (C-size or D-size) FIROMATIC 1230 case selection kits and provides an economic connection for low to moderate temperature fluid control in fire protection applications.
