They come mounted on a solid backplate with a single screw to ensure a secure locking mechanism whether installed horizontally or vertically. This product is a replacement part that can be used on select Baldwin Brass entry hardware collections.

Made of solid brass this dummy handle is designed to use with Baldwin's new advanced lock series for safety for children, meets the current applicable safety standards of the 1971 Consumer Product Safety Commission. Meets all applicable code requirements. Fits doors 1-3/8" to 2" thick with edge bore holes of 3/8", minimum hole depth of 5-5/8", mortise length is 3.125".
