This center punch tool for 3/8-inch and 5/8-inch clamps will also work with a 1/2 inch clamp (see included modification instructions for more information).

The Band-It Center Punch Tool for 3/8" or 5/8" Clamps is a handy tool designed to easily punch holes in sheet metal when used with band clamps. This end punching tool also has a wide steel head that rests on the surface of the metal without bending, which will allow you to sight over the punch mark. The steel construction also provides rigidity and strength to keep this punched hole from moving around and causing your clamp band to bind up.

In addition to its many uses, this handy center punch tool can be used with 3/8 inch and 5/8 inch clamps. Each tool comes with a matching steel storage box.

The BAND-IT 080 tool is used to open and close the throat opening when using a 3/8 or 5/8 clamp to secure fabric. It can also be used as a drift pin when you need a punch without a handle.
