The Brush Research Flex-Hone for brake cylinders is a patented tool designed for honing brake disks, pads, and drums with ease. This 5/8 in. tool features 180 grit abrasives and operates at speeds between 800 and 3,500 RPM when used with a compatible flex-hone holder, delivering a consistent, quality finish on every surface.

Both ends of the hone are equipped with 5mm (0.197 in.) cutters that provide flexible, adjust-on-the-fly honing capability to accommodate varying disk and drum sizes. For best results, Brush Research recommends replacing the cutters after every 75 disks or pads to maintain a perfect finish.
