Bios: Megafauna 2E, a tabletop game of bio-terror and ecological collapse. Players enter the role of a species trying to survive the new world. The game is played over a series of 70+ year turns, during which each player has one “bio-turn” to perform their actions. These actions include moving, feeding, fighting other players and adapting to the environmental changes caused by sudden global warming events.

Bios: Megafauna 2E is centered around the theory of evolution and the anthropogenic effect on animals. It is a card-driven game where players attempt to create their own zoo or ecosystem. Each player has a hand of cards that represent different species and habitats, and each turn a player must “feed” one of the species in their zoo to another species already in their zoo. The goal is to have a thriving ecosystem that makes sense.
