This unit uses the same engineered motor and microprocessor control as other units in Nutone?s line, but at a more economical price point. Like all Broan automatic units, this damper features a permanent magnet DC, brush-type motor which provides quiet and reliable operation. The motor is muffled and draws very little current to operate with thermistor (energy output automatically cutting off when it reaches the desired temperature).
