The Broan Nutone Radiation Damper is designed to fit within the two speed Ultra Green and Ultra Pro Fan & Light Kits. This energy saving damper is coded for use in areas requiring a Class "B" or Class "F" filter, and has a built-in damper inlets for added efficiency. The RDFU damper has an integrated non-illuminated sensing switch that turns the fan off if motion or light is no longer detected, which can save energy by not circulating air in unoccupied rooms.

The Nutone Radiation Damper (Part# RTD300) is the perfect accessory to any Broan 26 or 28 Series Ultra Air Purifier, Broan 22 Series Portable Air Purifier (Ultra Pro Fan for use in Humidors), Broan 24 Series Pro-PURTEC Pro Series Fan/Light Combination or Broan 25 Series Pro-PURTEC™ Fan/Light Combination.

The Broan Nutone RDFU Radiation Damper reduces the amount of radiation from your ceiling or wall mounted fan and fan light to make them more comfortable to operate. Great for all fans and fan lights that use a solid glass, plastic, or acrylic lens cover.

The Broan-Nutone® radiation dampers feature a built-in thermostat that automatically turns off the fan after the room temperature reaches a pre-set level, helping to save energy and maximize comfort. The dampers come in three sizes, so they can be matched with most fans.

Radiation dampers are used to prevent the heat from broiler and salamander products from spoiling nearby food.
