Browning's VPS-224 AH cast iron pillow block bearings are designed for use in air handling duties. They have a two-bolt flanged base, a center height of 2 inches and a setscrew locking collar.

Pillow block ball bearings are specifically designed to support heavy radial loads with minimum friction. They are ideal for use in industrial machinery and mechanical equipment that require a long bearing life, such as pumps, motors, conveyors, blowers and other demanding applications. Pillow block ball bearings include two sets of balls separated by an inner and an outer ring. The inner ring has a smaller outside diameter than the outer ring so that the two rings can move independently of each other during operation. This design provides high load carrying capacity by allowing the center opening between the two rings to expand to accept large shafts or bushings.
