10K ohm NTC Type II Temperature Sensor

The Honeywell 231667 10K ohm NTC Type II Temperature Sensor has been designed and manufactured to fit perfectly into the Honeywell HAC-504 and 507 series of humidifiers. The primary function of the temperature sensor is to monitor the humidity level within a room. The sensor monitors this by sensing temperature changes by means of a thermistor. An NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistor will vary as its resistance fluctuates when exposed to heat. The Honeywell 231667, 10K ohm NTC type II sensor thermistor has a current rating of ~0.2mA at 25°C and is designed to measure water temperature in hot water, heating or cooling systems.

The Honeywell 232167 10K NTC Type II Probe measures temperature over a broad range –40 to 250°F (-40 to 121°C). It is designed to be compatible with existing products and is mainly used in heat sensing applications. This sensor has a BNC connection for easy connection.

The Honeywell 231667 is an NTC-Type II (negative temperature coefficient) thermistor with a flat phenolic housing. The ratings of this thermistor are 1% accuracy rating (±2°F). This operation range is from -40°F to 250°F. This resistor features a resistance tolerance of 10%. This two terminal resistor features a tolerance of 10%.

The Honeywell NTC (negative temperature coefficient) thermistor is designed to measure process temperatures in the range of 90°C to 360°C.
