The Carrier 00PPG000012000A Discharge Transducer (Black), part number 00-PPG0000122-00B, is used with a Carrier Natural Gas furnace where automatic operation is desired with burner cutouts. Using a discharge transducer allows the gas furnace to adapt to volume and rate changes without flaring. The continuous magnetic pulse of the transducer varies the ignition output control circuit in an infinite number of angles. This creates smooth, level flame operation through the primary burners.

The Discharge Transducer features a 5/8 in. probe diameter that can be easily installed in hot or cold water supply lines, chilled water pipes; refrigerant lines, and other mediums.
