This ignitor module is designed to accept two NG modules and wired to a 24 volt control board. Keep your unit running properly by replacing this module, it's easy. The module is built to fit the available space within the gas pack and utilizes original wiring and connectors.

This part is utilized for a variety of applications, appropriate for the following items: Carrier 48GS Series Gas Pack Controllers. The item has a plastic housing and measures 4"L x 1/2" deep and weighs approximately 0.03 lb. It attaches to line 22 on the gas pack controller, as well as to line 357 on the gas pack controller board.

The Ignitor is a self-contained, precision instrument for sensing the gas pressure in a gas pack. It is mounted on a glass tube and sealed in an aluminum housing that permits visual observation of flame travel. The sensor itself consists of a pair of matched thermocouples enclosed within a boron sleeve. Each of these thermocouples is located on one end of a boron rod that extends to the center of the sensor assembly. The Ignitor is a precision instrument designed for use only with gas packs manufactured by Carrier Corporation. It will not function satisfactorily with any other type of gas pack.

The Carrier gas pack ignitors are for use with all gas-fired Packaged Units. The ignitor is located inside the Package, and is made up of a solid state, low wattage circuit and an integrated heating element. The ignitors are designed to light your cooking unit every time.
