The Carrier HC95XX006 THERMISTOR THERMISTOR is an easy-to-install, metal incompatible, thermistor designed for use with Carrier Infinity control boards and compatible with Daikin Altherma Solstice B coils.
The HC95XX006 THERMISTOR product feature allows for 1 additional installation position within the heater circulation loop to more efficiently control circulation temperatures in hard water applications. This feature also helps protect the watertube from the high circulating temperatures in the loop.
Our Carrier HC95XX006 THERMISTOR THERMISTOR is built with a simple centrifugal fan design, allowing for superior circulation of hot air. Its thermal overload protection keeps the motor from burning out, and its emergency reset switch allows for quick problem solving. This model can be installed in ceilings up to 10 feet high, and is commonly used in residential installations.
The Carrier HC95XX006 THERMISTOR THERMISTOR is an excellent part of your unit and it should be installed properly to work properly. You need to be sure that the two terminals are wired correctly, this will prevent it from damaging the unit.

The device allows the heat pump to cycle on and off when the outdoor temperature becomes too hot or too cold. This helps to achieve proper operation and maximize energy efficiency during the heating season.
