The Carrier HC98ZZ244 ARM MOTOR MOUNT is a reliable, economical way to control the level of the evaporator. It uses standard Type 208 wire wound motor with four leads which hang free. The extension rod is adjustable for various lengths to compensate for the thickness of the unit or cabinet.

Arm Motor Mount

The 18" Arm Motor Mount is used for mounting Carrier Series 58M gas furnaces, 48M direct vent and single stage 58AH gas furnaces. It can also be used with 96JH, 97JH and 98JH 52 series gas furnaces. The arm motor mount is also equipped with a 1/4" NPT port that can be used to mount a temperature sensor or other accessories.

Combine this Carrier arm motor mount with a Carrier residential heating and cooling system and you’ll never have to worry about your AC leaking refrigerant again. Hopefully, the unit is recharged right away, but if there’s a leak, the refrigerant stays in its containment system.
