The Lennox 71M17 Motor Mounting Arm provides a sturdy mounting surface for 1/6 HP to 2HP direct drive motors. The 71M17 can be used with or without the Bond Strip provided. The preferred method is to use the Bond Strip extending from the insulation board down to the mounting arm. This prevents any interruption to the thermal break, which is recommended wherever possible between the motor and the roof top unit.

The Lennox Motor Mounting Arm is for use with the Lennox XC14 and XC21 Series air conditioners. It attaches to an existing ceiling box.
