The MOTOR MOUNT ARM swings open to allow for easy access to the motor and allows for an unhindered airflow. This coil spring arm is designed to fit AC units that are 38 3/8" in width up to 48 7/16" in width.

This new Carrier HC98ZZ256 Motor Mount Arm is compatible with both the 836A3 and 836A4 Residential Furnaces, as well as the Carrier Commercial Furnaces.

The Carrier HC98ZZ256 motor mount arm is a vent damper motor with an arm that is designed for use in mobile homes and manufactured housing. The motor mount arm is thermostatically controlled and will close when indoor temperatures are above 75°F (24°C) and open when indoor temperatures are below 75°F (24°C)

The Carrier HC98ZZ256 Motor Mount Arm is the original mounting arm designed for use with Carrier air conditioners. Its adjustable design accommodates multiple installation options, making it easy to install during a replacement project or on new construction.

These motor mount arms slide under the frame of Carrier's high efficiency, variable speed, single or twin head gas, electric and oil furnaces and keep them close to the floor. They are a simple retrofit solution for furnaces with an existing Carrier HC908ZZ01AP or HC908ZZ02AP Gas Furnace Motor Mount Arm, Carrier HC49ZZF18SP High Efficiency Blower Motor Mount Arm or Carrier HC98ZZF18SP Blower Panel Assembly that allows the furnace to be lifted above the floor.
