The Carrier Relay Series fan relay offers many advantages over traditional fan relays and the previous Solenoid Relay Series. This series of products will not draw current from the control circuit until the coil is energized, thereby eliminating the need for a standing current or thermal device. By eliminating this element, this product will perform more efficiently and draw less power from the circuit.

The fan relay is the final stage of the blower circuit, which controls operations of the forced air heating and/or cooling system blower motor. It is mounted on the blower housing located in the plenum chamber.
