MOTOR MOUNT BAND

The Carrier P251-0078 Motor Mount Band is a genuine Carrier part; that provides a simple connection between the motor and the drive system.

The Carrier P251-0078 Motor Mount Band is designed to replace the motor mount band on your Carrier Infinity Furnace. Used in radiant systems, this mounting band holds the furnace's combustion blower, and is designed for use with gas furnaces only.

If you have a Carrier P037-0073, Carrier P037-0081, and/or a Carrier P037-0076 evaporator coil assembly installed in your central air conditioner, motor mount band P251-0078 will also be required.

Power outages occur. The Carrier® P251-0078 motor mount band is designed to back up the original motor mount assembly, which holds the actuator. The OEM motor mount band will work with the P251-0028 and P251-0029 humidifier models.

The Carrier P251-0078 P251-0078 motor mount band is designed to connect the motor to the gas valve. This replacement part is used in both ducted and ductless carrier heat pumps.

The Carrier P251-0078 Motor Mount Band is designed to hold the carrier-mounted heat pump motor in place during operation; however, some units may require additional hardware.

A power band motor mount is a component of a powerband. On a front-wheel-drive power-band, the motor mount is the means by which the motor is attached to the wheel and driven. The shaft must be well-balanced to keep from tiring a user out when the motor is run at high speed.
