3/4" X 3/4" 15 PSI LOW PRESSURE STEAM RELIEF VALVE

The 3/4" X 3/4" 15 PSI LOW PRESSURE STEAM RELIEF VALVE is a factory assembled and tested low pressure ball valve designed to provide pressure relief for high pressure steam applications. It provides an alternate path for release of excess steam in high pressure steam systems.

The 3/4 Inch 15 PSI low pressure steam relief valve is perfect for heating and cooling applications. It is used to relieve excessive pressure in systems and maintain the normal operating pressure. It includes a 3/4 Inch outlet, two 1/2 Inch NPT ports for drain connections, and a 1/2 Inch NPT port that allows for valve service.

Our 3/4" 15 PSI Steam Relief Valves are perfect for upgrading your existing relief valve or completely replacing it. The valves are self-cleaning and replaceable, fitting most standard steam tables and cookers with the common 1/2" pipe thread. These will blow shut when pressure reaches 15 psig so that splatters and moisture do not escape onto your floor.

This 3/4" 15 PSI relief valve is designed for use by steam boiler manufacturers. They are intended primarily for high pressure uses at temperatures above 400°Fahrenheit, but its shape can be used in lower temperatures when more than 15 pounds steam pressure is required.

A true dual purpose valve, the 3/4" 15# Steam Relief is designed to provide relief for both steam and hot water. It has a built in restrictor assuring a slow opening of the steam exhaust when used in conjunction with a temperature and pressure relief valve. The 3/4" 15# Steam Relief should also be used in steam heating systems over 1000 PSI where there is excessive condensation due to the limited flow of steam through the system.
