This particular model is designed specially for a Moen Posi-Temp Trim Only. It features a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) bulb that is bonded inside of the trim which is made out of high quality brass. Under normal conditions, the PTC bulb will not energize allowing for normal cold water flow from the faucet. If hot water demand is required, energy from an incoming PTC wire coil ($12-$15
