"SPDT KP71 TEMP CNTRL W/80""CAP"
The Danfoss "SPDT KP71 TEMP CNTRL W/80""CAP" is part of a series of high performance, multi-range accuracy temperature control devices with digital display. They provide accurate control and reliable protection against low and high temperature
KP71 control centers are designed for controlling small temperature applications. The temperature controller (TC) can be connected to a heat exchanger, process valves and a primary variable temperature controller (PVTC). These compact voltage-free controllers allow the user to vary the set point on the controller from 0°C to 250°C with a step of 1°C. The control is so flexible that it can be used for controlling various types of heaters, cooling plants as well as heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
The Danfoss KP71 is a 230VAC 10A, 70 watt, plug-in constant temperature controller. The unit features: a maximum current of 15A.
The Danfoss KP71 temperature controller is designed for use with the TSP100, TST101, TX121, and TX122 heat pump water heaters. When used with as a instantaneous on/off relay (normally open), the unit provides for accurate control of room temperature applications such as freezers and swimming pools. The unit has been designed to meet the requirements of European energy directives in accordance with EN61326-1:2006+A1:2010 and EN55022:2006 EMC specifications.
This module is a temperature controller featuring three 4-20mA inputs (two are available for temperature sensors) and one 4-20mA output. The thermal couple, located inside the heating coil, monitors the water temperature of your hot water supply to automatically control the heating of your domestic hot water. The extra long 80"" cable allows you to mount the module out of sight when it controls a gas or oil boiler.
Two SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) control valves and a differential pressure transmitter are included in every units. Both valves can be used for heating or cooling applications. They are completely interchangeable which makes the selection of the right valve easy. Each valve has a built-in passive leakage compensation, which eliminates the need for an external compensation unit and makes the system more compact and economical to install. Furthermore, both valves offer easy integration with automation systems by supporting ModBus RTU protocol .
The Danfoss KP71 is a digital controller used to regulate the temperature of heat exchangers especially in building services where accurate control of temperatures are essential for energy efficiency. It can also be used as a simple proportional controller in many applications such as remote lighting control, temperature monitoring of vehicles or storage containers.
